Pete Forester

Chief Actuary and Executive Director – Product and Reinsurance

Pete Forester serves as the Chief Actuary with responsibility for pricing, reserving, and data analytics. With over two decades of experience, mostly in the Florida personal lines market, Pete joined People’s Trust Insurance in 2019 as the company’s first in-house actuary.

In addition to Chief Actuary, Pete oversees PTI’s reinsurance purchase, catastrophe modeling, risk management, and product development initiatives.

Pete is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA). His other designations include Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Reinsurance (ARe), and Certified Extreme Event Modeler (CEEM). Pete holds a Master of Science in Biostatistics from the University of Vermont and a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Northwestern University.
