Emergency Kit Checklist
Disaster supplies kits are a collection of basic household items you may need in the event of an emergency. Assemble your kit before hurricane season, so you have everything you need in advance of a storm. Be sure you have enough supplies to last each family member at least 72 hours, including food, water, and other essential supplies.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) now recommends including items in your kit to help prevent the spread of coronavirus or other viruses. So add masks, soap, hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes to disinfect surfaces.
