Steve Berman

Steve Berman brings over 25 years of professional experience to People's Trust Insurance Company. After graduating from the University of Colorado he joined the March Management Company, a real estate construction, development and management company.
Responsible for projects throughout the Southeast United States and Puerto Rico he spent 18 successful years working his way to Vice President, earning multiple recognitions for his achievements. During his tenure he obtained State of Florida licenses as a Certified General Contractor, Real Estate Broker, Real Estate Appraiser and Insurance Adjuster. His extensive construction and development experience prepared him for all phases of new construction, renovation and building repair.
As an Insurance Adjuster during catastrophic events gave him the experience and knowledge of the complexities a hurricane presents to both the insurance company and the homeowner. Having walked through hurricane ravaged neighborhoods and adjusted major losses gives him a unique perspective to deal with future catastrophes.
People's Trust has a comprehensive and substantial reinsurance program. The program has been designed to protect People's Trust policyholder surplus in the event of a major catastrophe. People's Trust has placed catastrophe excess of loss reinsurance up to the 100 year modeled return period for its entire portfolio of insureds
